Tool/software:
Many parts on this board have not been installed and are marked as DNI in the schematic. When I bought the board in 2024, it was available on the TI website, but its parts were not available anywhere. This means we do not have a 250MHz ADC because these two important parts, VCXO1 and FLT1, are not assembled and are not available from any electronic part distributor. So, I don't have a 250MHz ADC. I wish I could return this board and give back my money.
Hi Ali,
Unfortunately, we do not install all devices on every EVM due to costs and availability.
Both the schematic and BOM are clearly marked as DNI for those two devices called out.

Rob
I think it is clear that I bought this device for 250MHz sampling rate but it is not affordable based on obselete of parts. I think you should make this device out of reach and you shouldn't sell that anymore or you should replace the obsolete parts with similar availables.
Hi Ali,
I understand your frustration but we do multiple options on our EVMs so customers can try different configurations. The SMA, J19, is on the board so that an external clock can be applied the clock input of the ADC.

Geoff
Hi Geoff,
Do you mean I should set up a resonator in 250MHz and deliver it by J19? Do you have any suggest?
Dear Geoff,
I mean do you have any suggest for a oscillator module to be compatible?
Hi,
I mean to connect an external signal generator to the J19 SMA of the CLK input. If you have an external osc board you can do that with, that will work too.

Geoff
Hi,
I would suggest a sig gen as i would be easier to change the input to dial it in to what you need.

Geoff
A 250MHz signal generator? it's more expensive than it should always be connected to this board. it is not a good idea.
