Tool/software:
Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well.
I'm facing a few Problems with the ADS1232 internal Temperature Sensor.
The ADC generates a value of 387763, corresponding to a voltage of 115mV (VREFP = 4.98V, VREFN = 0V) and thus a Temperature of more than 30°C.
That's not correct, I have at most 21°C at my desk. Heating of the IC and PCB is not responsible, the value is that high when I use a "fresh" roomtemperature PCB as well.
I have verified that the PCB and Code works properly by applying 110mV to another channel which is measured and displayed correctly.
Do you have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Best regards
Damian
is it possible that the offset at 25°C is actually 117mV instead of 111.7mV as mentioned in the datasheet? Because that would lead to reasonable values
