Hi All,

I am new to this community.

I am trying to interface AMC7823EVM and evaluating the ADC, DAC and GPIO functions of AMC7823 through SPI interface. I am able to communicate with the module and write and read of registers is happening properly. 

 Eg. If I want to configure DAC0 with 0x0FFF value. This will give the maximum voltage at the DAC0 output. But I am not getting voltages at the output (J5 connector Pin no.2). If I try to read back the register value, it is proper as per configured (0x0FFF). Is there any settings to enable the output of DAC? I might be missing something while using evaluation module.

Please help me to come out of this issue.

    Pantha,

    Depending on the configuration of the AMC7823 you may also need to be utilizing the ELDAC pin or the Load DAC register to latch the data in the DAC registers to the output. The DAC can be configured to update each DAC output automatically by configuring the appropriate synchronous/asynchronous bit in the DAC Configuration register.
