I am working on a PCB that uses a TVP5154A. However due to space I will not be using 2 of the channels. I read the data sheet and it mentions to set any analog channels not used to ground via a 0.1uF cap. I am wondering what is suppose to be done with the REFPx, REFMx on the analog side. I was also wondering about CHx_OUT[7:0], SCLKx, CLKx, INTREQx, AVIDx, HSYNCx, VSYNCx, and FIDx. Am I able to just ground them? Thanks.

Mike,

The unused digital outputs should simply be left unconnected. Do not connect any digital outputs to ground. For digital pins which can be configured as either inputs or outputs you should either configure them as outputs and leave them unconnected OR configure them as inputs and connect them to ground.

Unused analog signal inputs should be connected to ground through 0.1uF capacitors.

Unused Ref pins should be connected to ground through a 1uF capacitor as per the datasheet.

Thank you for the prompt response. I was also curious of AVDD, PL_VDD, IOVDD, or DVDD pins for channels not used.
