PGA117AIPWR and the ADS1244 on the same SPI bus

Is it possible to put the PGA117AIPWR and the ADS1244 on the same SPI bus? If it is possible, how can I communicate without a CS line on the ADS1244?

Otherwise I may have to have an external switch for my own chip select line.

Hi HJ,

You could use the same bus but you would have to add some tri-state logic between the SPI bus and the ADS1244. The logic control would act similar to a CS. You could use something like the SN74LVC2G125.
