AFE4403 WATCH EVM USB , BLE CONNECTION

Hi

1. I bought AFE4403 Watch EVM several days ago for iOS app development. my app gets services, characteristics but no data.

and now I read current firmware doesn't support BLE, /sigh .. is there any plan about BLE support ?

or should I make my own firmware ? what is good choice between waiting for and making firmware?

2. MY AFE4403 Watch EVM has usb connection problem,first time I succeeded connection with my mac pro, bootcamp window7. and I proceeded firmware update (ver 2.2) . and then something happened.

now I can't connect any computer (tested 10 computers, computer doesn't recognize the connection at all). AFE4403 GUI app  always goes to simulation mode becase of no connection. any solution about this? 

 Desperately help needed. thanks.

    Hello Byeong,

    Thank you for purchasing the AFE4403 Watch EVM kit for your application.

    The factory programmed firmware does not support BLE.

    Unfortunately we do not have plans to provide firmware for BLE. You may have to develop your own firmware.

    Regarding the watch PC connectivity problem, this happens when incorrect firmware is loaded to the Watch.

    The factory default firmware is available under the documents tab from SVTronics Website.

     You will need to update the firmware using JTAG.

    I have attached the procedure for updating the firmware to factory default through JTAG.

    Dear Praveen,

    I was using the devise with out the firmware update and it was getting detected in the system(PC) and i was able to run the GUI code with this.

    But in the pdf which i downloaded from TI website was saying that after the GUI software installation you should update the firmware (as told in the pdf attached page no.33). After this the devise is not getting detected in the PC nor in the GUI.

    Please can you give solution asap because I need to use the it. I think that I did not erase the BSL. I have done everything that it is in section 7.

    Is there any way so that i can RESET the devise to older firmware?

    Dear Braveen,

    One thing more, the device manager does not show anything plugged. I do not what to do, but I can not buy JTAG and MSP430 USB-Debug-Interface MSP-FET430UIF. I have apply an actualization, and I would like to go back.

    Hello,

    As I had mentioned in my earlier post, the connectivity issue happens when incorrect firmware is loaded.

    You will need to update to the factory default firmware. You can find the factory default firmware and the firmware update procedure under the Documents tab from Svtronics website.

    The AFE4403-HREVM watch development / users guide can also be found under the Documents tab from Svtronics website.

    SLAU572B is the users guide for the AFE4403EVM.  Both are two different EVM platforms.

    Then, if the USB is not recognized neither detected. Should it be necesary to adquire the following instruments?

    Tag Connect JTAG cable -> Tag Connect www.tag-connect.com/TC2050-IDC-NL-430
    MSP430 USB-Debug-Interface MSP-FET430UIF -> www.digikey.com/.../807007
    Flash Programmers
