DDC316/DDC232

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DDC316, DDC232

Hello,

we currently using a system with DDC316 or DDC232 to measure a proton beam. To improve our results and remove noise pickup we want to move the DDCs into our chambers. Are there any test done on the DDC316 or DDC232 to test how radiation tolerant(especially for neutron radiation) they are or what problems may occur?

Regards,
Koen

  • Hi Koen,

Unfortunately we do not have any data on how neutrons would affect these devices. There is some TID data for DDC232 that I can send you apart, but not for DDC316. As you can imagine, that environment is not common for those devices, so, neutron characterization has never been done.

Nevertheless, we do have a group in TI that specializes on this type of work. It would not be a low cost effort but if interested, I can put you in contact with them... Feel free to connect with me in the forum so that I can see your information...

    Best regards,

    Eduardo
