DAC8234 power consumption

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8234

Hi,

I am using DAC8234 to generate bias voltages for power amplifiers. The required output voltages are (-5V to -2V) and +17.7V.

I have selected AVdd as +22V and AVss as -12V. REF-A and REF-B pins are at 5V. IOVdd is 3.3V and DVdd is 5V.

Could some one please tell me the maximum current consumption on the below mentioned pins?

AVdd, AVss, DVdd, IOVdd, REF-A and REF-B

Thanks in advance

AVdd, AVss, DVdd, IOVdd, REF-A and REF-B

AVDD_maxCurrent= 13.6 mA (in datasheet referred to as AIDD)

AVSS_maxCurrent = 16 mA (in datasheet referred to as AISS)

DVDD_maxCurrent = 50 μA (in datasheet referred to as DIDD) Assumes VIH is IOVDD and VIL is GND.

IOVDD_maxCurrent = ±10 μA (in datasheet referred to as IOIDD) Assumes VIH is IOVDD and VIL is GND.

The reference buffers have a minimum input impedance of 10 MΩ, assuming your reference is exactly 5 V:

    REF-A_maxCurrent = 0.5 μA

    REF-B_maxCurrent = 0.5 μA

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
