ADS4122 how to improve the glitch

Hi,

My customer is troubled that amplitude of the glitch is large after the aperture delay.

Please refer following the waveform.

They tried to add the filter(50Ω and 3.3pF), however there is no improving.

Could you please introduce how to improve the glitch?

Thanks and Regards,

Kuramochi

  • Tadahiko,

The internal RCR filter is designed to reduces glitches at high IF (550MHz). It appears the customer is using a low IF (~50MHz). According to the data sheet, in this case the user should use external filtering, such as those shown in figures 108 and 109 to reduce the glitches at low IF. Has the customer tried this? Can you send us their schematic?

    Regards,

    Jim
