Hi Team,

My customer cnsiders to use AFE4404 and bought AFE4404EVM.
He wants to set 1kHz sampling frequency with AFE4404EVM.

Could you tell me register values to configure 1kHz sampling frequency?

Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty

  • Hi Yaita,

You can use the AFE4404 GUI to generate the timing register settings for a particular condition.

Please follow the steps given below to generate register settings using GUI:

    1) Set the required PRF ( 1KHz in you case) and the duty cycle for LED ( e.g 10% of PRF = 10% of 1KHz = 100uS).

    2) Set NUMAV (# of samples for averaging) , (e.g. NUMAV = 1 = Two samples taken for averaging) .

    3) Press the "SET" button to program the EVM.

    4) Since PRF = 1KHz, there wont be enough time for Dynamic power down , so set PDN Cycle outside of PRPCT ( PRPCT = 3999).

Following is  a screenshot for the steps mentioned above.

    Regards,

    Prabin.
