ADS5281EVM: ADS5281 EVM with TSW1405 and related firmware not found for the HSDC pro software.

I have the ADS5281 EVM and the TSW1405 . I want to use it for the ADC of the ultrasound . But first I connect the module as per the user guide for the ADS5281 EVM and I am beginner so I don't know how to update firmware for it in High speed data converter pro software ? It shows no firmware updated and when I try to capture it shows nothing.

    Hi,

    Are you using HSDCPro to connect to the TSW1405?   The FPGA on the TSW1405 gets its firmware from the PC at run time.  When you conenct the HSDCPro GUI to the TSW1405, then HSDCPro will push the firmware down into the FPGA automatically when you select the device in HSDCPro.  When you select the ADS528x device selection, then HSDCPro should pop up with a window asking if it is ok to continue to download the firmware into the FPGA.  Click ok and it happens automatically.  

    Does your HSDCPro recognize the TSW1405 at all when you plug in the TSW1405 usb cable and then launch the HSDCPro?  The HSDCPro should tell you what capture cards it found connected to the PC and the TSW1405 should be the one it finds.  If not, make sure the USB port you are using for the connection is a powered connection.  The TSW1405 gets it power from the USB port.  If the USB port on your computer does not supply power then the TSW1405 will not be powered.

    If this does not help, then i may need to see a screenshot of your HSDCPro GUI.
