ADS1015: ADS1015 which input for setting Alert

Can I pick a particular input like AIN2 for issuing the Alert.

I want Alert based on AIN2 high and low thresholds (and not on any other inputs)

To set the threshold values do they need to be entered every time at power up or can they be stored in EEPROM?

    The comparator and threshold values for the ADS1015 are only associated with the ADC output, and not with any particular input setting for the multiplexer. Therefore, you can't really set the threshold for an input setting.

    Also, the threshold values need to be entered every time for power up. Register values are set as with flip-flops in the digital, not with an EEPROM setting.
