DAC38RF93: CAN you explian THE Fuse farm

Part Number: DAC38RF93

In the chip DAC38RF93 datesheet, the register page0 : 0x7f , BIT[15] =1 is stand for "Asserted when the Fusefarm Autoload sequence is done", what  means fuse farm?

and in my design  I read the address bit[15:10]=000000, is that any problem when we use the chip ? is there any operation i can do to make sure the bit[15:10]=100000?

  • Hi,

Fusefarm refers to default registers that are stored in non-volatile memory in DAC and it is used to initialize the DAC during power up.
For Fusefarm to load correctly, TRSTB pin should be pulled Low and there should be a clock at the DAC clock input.
Please follow the startup sequence in figure 167 of datasheet to ensure fusefarm loads successfully.
