DAC38RF89: SPI bus

My customer has the following question on the SPI Bus Rate for the DAC38RF89. The datasheet says 10 MHz (section 7.9). On another program with an "older" DAC they had the same issue and were told, I'm guessing since it is a nominal value not a MAX, that running it faster (say 20 MHz) shouldn't be a problem. Is there a way to confirm the same for this DAC?

Hi Aaron,

Design team closed timing on the SPI interface up to about 30MHz. But since the part has not been characterized beyond 10MHz on the SPI interface, there is no way to confirm all the corners will work at a faster SPI clock over temp and voltage.
