This device is quiet old and comes from an era where SPICE models were not all that prevalent, unfortunately a model was not created for the device. Given it's age it is also quiet difficult for us to generate a model for it without re-initiating a new, exhaustive characterization effort.

What are you interested in model? Perhaps we can help realize that without a complete model for the device.

To be clear are you saying you just need an ideal DAC model for a parallel interface w/ unbuffered output for your SPICE needs?

Viktor,

The only parallel input R-2R DACs which we have implemented SPICE models for are DAC8822 and DAC8820. You can find the SPICE models for those devices on the "Tools & Software" pages of the respective product folders.

DAC's 8822/8820 have buffer registers it is require signals of control ,me require DAC with parallel inputs without registers.May be exist soft for creation SPICE models ,that allow to create SPICE model for DAC08

Sorry - evidently I misread the earlier message about a buffer and interpreted that as an interest in a DAC without an output buffer (amplifier).

DAC0800 is pretty unique in not having any latch mechanism for the input data. In most cases this is not desired as a lack of synchronicity on the digital inputs could create undesired "glitch-like" artifacts on the outputs.

As I mentioned a complete SPICE model for DAC0800 does not exist - but if you want to explain to us exactly what about the device you need modeled (in the event that it isn't everything...) perhaps there is another way we can assist.

I designed ADC's with function RF detector ,that type ADC's don't make,if you have interest, i can send more detail information.
P.S. DAC08 have settling time 100 ns,i will want to see more fast DAC's.

I do not really have the capability of forcing a model to be prepared with any level of expedience at the moment, nor do I have means to accept payment for such a development.

Independently, you may be able to find a vendor to generate a SPICE model for you. I have worked with Design Soft in the past (www.designsoftware.com/.../&). They are also the provider for TINA-TI.

We are working on a new SPICE model architecture, but it still has months more of work ahead. Once that model architecture is complete we should be the ability to more quickly generate SPICE models on requests, but those models level of completeness may be limited for older device who may not have comprehensive datasets available to reinforce the model.

We do not "sell" a SPICE model or modelling services.

I do understand the value of a SPICE model, and as I've mentioned my team and I are actively working on making sure this is an available option in the nearby future - so we will be better in this regard as quickly as we can.
