For assistance in scaling the ADS1x58 output data, here is the data formatting table and equation for the LSB size:

NOTE:

The output codes from the ADS1x58 are 2's compliment (signed) values. 24-bit signed for the ADS1258, and 16-bit signed for the ADS1158.
Therefore, 0xFFFFFF (hex) = -1 (decimal) for the ADS1258, and 0xFFFF (hex) = -1 (decimal) for the ADS1158.
