Hello,

I am testing with TSW14J56 board and DAC37J84 eval board.

I tested onboard clock source for the DAC output test, and It looks working.

Then I switched to an external clock mode, but I can't see PLL status LED ON and can't see any DAC output.
I provide an external clock is 10 MHz 0 dB ~ 3 dB.
Does anyone has experience of the DAC37J84 eval board?

Hello Kiman,

you will need to input the clock frequency matching the GUI display in the following highlighted area

There are minimum clock frequency requirements due to the design of the DAC and also the associated SERDES core. 10MHz is in general to slow of a frequency for the DAC37j84 series

Hello Kang,

Thank you, It working now.

I think external clock mode bypassed the PLL1 & PLL2 because D6, D7 LEDs are off status.
