AMC1304L05: Trace impedance matching for LVDS, current sensor

Hi!

I m working with my inverter design. During the designe, i found a problem.

It is important to match impedance of LVDS interface for AMC1304 sensor? What value should it be? Where can I find such informations?

The lenght and path of Positiv and Negative tracks I m making the same.

Hi Serafin,

Welcome to our e2e forum! Page 32 in the AMC1304L05 datasheet has some basic layout information. Yes, please do ensure you route the clock and data lines as differential (length matched) traces using 100 ohm terminations at the driving ends of the signals.

What i mean is, should i match track impedane? I understand that i should use 100 Ohm termination resistor, but what impedance should have my tracks Itself? Also 100 Ohms?

Hi Serafin,

Sorry for the confusion, yes - 100 ohm differential transmission line with the 100 ohm termination.
