TSW1400EVM: how do I programming the FPGA in the TSW1400?

Hi,

I was doing the project about the TSW1400EVM, I need to Programming FPGA to make FFT of the origianl waveform and than output to DAC.

But I'm confused how to Progamming the FPGA in the TSW1400 board.

and can I just use the USB connect to PC and then programming it?

yes I read that user guide. But I want to filter and FFT the original waveform base on FPGA programming, then output to the DAC. and I use the DAC3482EVM.

so how can i programming and then upload to the FPGA in TSW1400EVM, By USB or the JTAG interface.

Sifei,

After installing and removing some resistors on the board, you can use the JTAG connector to program the FPGA. Another option is to convert your .sof file into a .rbf file then use HSDC Pro GUI to load the firmware. Instructions are attached.

If I install and remove some resistors on the board, is that means I can't use the HSDC Pro?

and how can I install and remove these resistors?

Sifei,

HSDC Pro will still work with these modifications. To install and remove the resistors, you will need a soldering iron, flux, a microscope and tweezers. If you cannot perform this operation, I suggest you find a local board assembly shop to do this for you.
