Hi,

Please provide the test results for SNR and SFDR for ADC

ADS54J66 with following inputs.

ADC: Fin= 670 MHz with 10MHz Bandwidth, Fs=300 MSPS

Please provide the test results for SNR and SFDR for DAC

DAC38J84 with following inputs.

DAC: Fout =670 MHz with 10MHz, Fs=2400 MSPS

we request you to provide results for above signals using EVMs for ADC and DAC.

Hi Hassen,

Before we can get you the data, you can estimate SFDR and SNR from the information provided in the datasheet of these 2 parts. Here is an example for SNR calculation:

NSD(DAC)=-157dBFS/Hz, SNR, within 10MHz = -157+10*log10e6=-87dBFS

NSD(ADC)=-151.7dBFS/Hz, SNR, within 10MHz = -151.7+10*log10e6=-81.7dBFS

For SFDR within 10MHz bandwidth, I estimate -100dBFS for ADC(from figure 8 of datasheet) and -80dBFS for DAC(from figure 12 of datasheet)

The data for the ADC is attached. For the DAC, the NCO is required to get an output at 670MHz. Data for this is attached as well.
