Hi Michael,

The ratings for each pin is given in the Absolute Maximum Ratings table in section 6.1 on page 4. The pin descriptions you have given are defined in the table on page 3 under the TYPE column. For pin 11 (XTAL1) this would be a Digital Input pin and in section 6.1 the minimum voltage is shown to be DGND-0.3V and the maximum as DVDD+0.3V. The maximum input current is +/- 10mA.

I realize that some of the other pins are not quite so obvious such as XTAL2 and BYPASS. These pins are not input pins, so an input voltage would not be applied. However, note that in the 6.1 table that the Input current maximum applies to any terminal except the power supplies.

Thank you for the note.

I am working on a worst case analysis effort and the requirements for the paperwork need a Max voltage and min voltage that each pin can see during normal operation.

what should I put for XTAL2 and BYPASS? I understand this is not standard. does TI have this information?

Hi Michael,

Here is the response I received:

"XTAL2 is the internal oscillator buffer output used to drive an external crystal. The voltage range on this pin will be between 0V and DVDD.

The BYPASS pin is the output voltage of LDO that powers the digital core. The nominal voltage is 1.8V but will vary from 1.65V to 2V."
