ADS4222: Sample clock noise on analog inputs

Part Number: ADS4222

Hello,

I get the sample clock frequency (30-60 Mhz) riding on the input analog signal. See image example below of a sine wave.

Of course when the device is reset (not clocked) the input signal looks smooth.

I'm trying to understand the source. Any ideas?

Thanks

  • Nimrod,

Try using a band-pass filter on the IF input and clock as well. Make sure the power is clean coming into the board. Use a differential scope probe and verify the analog input is clean at the ADC input.

    Regards,
