AMC1304L05: Behavior outside linear range

Hi Team,

One of my customers has a question about the AMC1304L05:

How does the part behave outside the linear range between ± 50mV and ± 62.5mV? Is there a graph or information on how the part behaves during a measurement in this range?

In addition, with what total accuracy does the AMC1304L05 measure? (the shunt resistance currently has a tolerance of ± 1%).

Hi Mihir,

Input voltages up to +/-62.5mV outside of the linear input range of +/-50mV is not specified. There will likely be additional gain errors and/or non-linearity for a measurement in this region.

The accuracy specs for the device can be seen under DC accuracy and AC accuracy on page 9 of the datasheet.
