DAC5687: DAC5687EVM TI_USB_SPI Windows 10 driver problem

Part Number: DAC5687
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSW3003

Hello,

I purchased a DAC5687EVM and tried to connect it to windows 10 computer. I installed the DAC5687SPI_Installv2p2 program that in the CD-ROM that came with EVM.

But the windows 10 doesn't have the driver for TI_USB_SPI. I tried to download the latest driver from FTDI and installed it. But still no luck.

I tired the driver (TSW3003 Driver and Installation Instruction.zip)  that posted in another post in TI form: https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters/f/73/p/585770/2154207?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=dac5687evm#2154207

When I used these drivers, it only show the option for TSW3003, I tried to choose TSW3003, it won't install, the error message is: Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device.

The Vendor ID and Product ID for the USB-SPI Adapter is 0001 and 1000, I check the ftdibus.inf file in the TSW3003 Driver and Installation Instruction.zip, there is no driver listed for these Vendor ID and Product ID.

Do you have updated Windows 10 driver for TI USB-SPI adapter?

Thanks,

Jay
