It is software development kit, a library to help writing your own software to control the board.

Hi Mikhail,

I believe the EVM also has another connector in which to get the data off the board, using a logic analyzer.

Not sure if that support is still available. Let me know do some additional checking.

Yes, it also has an FMC connector, but I couldn't find any specification for it.

NI does some digitizers which might offer another solution.

We have had some customers go this route instead of WV5.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the advice, but NI products are not sufficiently flexible for my needs (I want to be able to change the FPGA firmware), and also overpriced.

Hi Mikhail,

Understood, I can offer the current FPGA code as a curtesy for you to modify. Then simply swap out the updated file in the C drive location where Wavevision pulls this from.

Make a copy of the old one for backup purposes first :)

Hi Mikhail,

Please see attached source FPGA code.

Also, please understand this is provided as a curitsy to our customers, we cannot help debug code.

Once you have made your modifications, please put the file in the following location.

Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\National Semiconductor\WaveVision5\hardware\fpga_images

Filename is: adc10d1000_xc4vlx25_adc08d1520rb.bit

Wavevision will then auto load this file and hopefully you can do your further analysis.
