HI team,may I ask Op Temp (°C) 25 to 25 for DAC121S101WGMPR (pg28) in the datasheet is correct?

My customer want to know DAC121S101WGMPR & DAC121S101WGRLV

contains the same IC and manufactured using the same process?

I will have to confirm this but based on the datasheet the GMPR is marketed as a "pre-flight engineering prototype", which would suggest to me that it is perhaps not exposed to the complete test procedure and therefore just an option for testing in controlled laboratory environments. The other devices meanwhile are fully qualified and tested over the entire operating temperature range from -55C to 125C.

The die, package, process, lead-frame, etc. are all the same with the exception of the bare die option, of course.

Yanni,

I can confirm that these "Pre-Flight Engineering Prototype" units are essentially the same material, however not tested and predominantly intended for enabling layout and mechanical design without having to spend the full cost for production units, which is considerable.

Hello Yanni,

Some additional information:

MPR units are engineering prototypes that do not receive the full space processing and testing. They are only tested at room temperature.

They may be QCI rejects that do not impact the performance of the device. They can come from wafer lots that have not been radiation tested or may have even failed radiation testing, which is the case for this product.
