DAC121S101QML-SP: Power down output impedance?

Part Number: DAC121S101QML-SP

What is the output impedance of DAC121S101QML-SP when in power-down mode or the part loses power?

I see that the DC output impedance is typically 8Ohm under ROC.

  • Hi Gregory,

The output impedance when the device is unpowered is a bit hard to know for sure, but the output features ESD diodes that start to conduct once the voltage increases beyond about 0.3V the supply rails (which would both be about 0V during power off).  So it would be relatively high-impedance until is sinking or sourcing a few hundred 100µA, but then it would be lower impedance as the diode start to conduct.

During the power-down mode, the output impedance would be as shown below.  I would expect the "hi-z" impedance would be >1MΩ.

    Thanks,

    Paul
