ADS114S06B: Is there any bit or register to detect over range of input?

I want to detect over range if the analog input goes about Internal reference voltage 2.5V?

Is there any register or indication for this? If no then how detect the over range?

    Hi Ameya,

    There is no over-range status bit for the ADS114S06B. A full-scale reading of 0x7FFF would mean that you are at or over the reference voltage. One possible solution would be to connect the analog supply to the external reference input.  When you see the conversion result reach 0x7FFF, you could switch to the external reference and measure the voltage a second time to determine if the input voltage is at 2.5V or greater than 2.5V.
