hello

i want to use the DAC39J84 with 4 lanes and only 2 dac's ( it may dac a and b, or c and d)

my data rate is 600Mbps, the other two dac's be set by NCO only.

i assume 4 as number of interpolation  to Fdac of 2400Msps.

is it ok?

    Hi David,

    Using the 600MHz external clock and 4x interpolation for a Fdac of 2400MSPS will work as that is below the max DAC output rate of 2500MSPS. To only use two of the DAC's there is an option that you can turn off DAC C and D, which can be done by writing to register 0x4A. This disables the clock to those two DAC's while leaving DAC A and B to operate normally.
