TSW14J56EVM: Connect Multi-AFE5818EVM/AFE5807EVM through FMC-ADC-Adaptor

I was trying to Connect TSW14J56EVM with Multi-AFE5818EVM and/or AFE5807EVM through FMC-ADC-Adaptor.

Must I connect them with TSW1400EVM through lvds ?

I hope the software high speed data converter pro,HMC-DAQ for AFE5818EVM and software for TX7332EVM both work.

Xiangang,

right now, we didn't verify this kind of approach. mulitple EVMs aligment will be an issue.

TSW1400 supports LVDS on a Non-FMC connector.

if you need more channels, can you look at AFE5832EVM? AFE5832+TX7332 should work nicely.

Yes, we are identifying AFE5832+TX7332. we are trying to evaluate FPGA with multi-AFE58* through LVDS/FMC

you know, 32 channels are not enough for a ultrasonic device. It should be 1 FPGA and more AFE&TX.

I am trying to verify if 1 FPGA can work with many AFEs through FMC.

If many many channels appear, we may transfer from LVDS to FMC. Maybe I am worrying something that will not happen

understand you case. our FMC doesn't support LVDS mode. it only supports JESD204B itnernface.

AFE5818 has been verified in many ultrasound systems, from 32Ch to 256 channels. So you can go ahead to build a board without worry.
