LMP92018: temp range

Hello,

I have a question about the temp range for the LMP92018. In the datasheet, we can see two operating temperatures: -30C up to 85C and -40C up to 125C.

 

What is the right temperature range? We want to use this component from -40C up to 85C. Is it compatible for our application? The operating conditions says -40C to 125C and the description on page 2 says -30C to 85C.

    Hi Adam,

    It is a little confusing as this was an NSC datasheet, so they differ a bit.  The -30 to 85°C is the range at which the bolded specifications are guaranteed.  The range in the recommended operating conditions is the range where the device is still functional, but its performance may violate the limits as shown in the table, but it will not be damaged. "The recommended Operating Conditions indicate conditions at which the device is functional and the device should not be operated beyond such conditions".

    If they require the full temperature range, I recommend they use the AMC7891.
