Hi TI expert

According to AFE5832 32-Channel Analog Front-End Evaluation Module User's Guide, Page 15, 'a. Input a 5-MHz, –20-dBm signal to any SMA input on the AFE EVM. Connect a 5-MHz filter to the input signal. Connect a single SMA-SMA cable from J11 (TSW EVM) to J37 (AFE EVM).'

What is the Bandwidth?

    Li, 

    AFE5832 can support frequency higher than 20MHz when sample rate is 40 to 50MHSPS per channel. 

    the 5MHz BPF we used in lab is from TTE Inc, bandwidth of 5% or so. this is for ensuring the noise from function generator is filtered out.  this way, you can get the true SNR of the AFE. 

    in regular operation, you don't need the BPF.
