Hi Team,

Will this ADS124S08EVM support full temperature range of PT100 (i.e -200 deg C to 850 deg C)

    Hi Sarumathi,

    As you can see from the ADS124S08 EVM schematic on page 38 in the EVM user's guide, you can connect RTDs to the J7 terminal block, while R68 is used as the bias resistor (RBIAS) and R70 is a reference resistor (RREF) in a high-side reference configuration.

    Given that a Pt100 at 850C = 390 ohms and R70 = 1kohm, this would allow you to measure the full temperature range of a Pt100. Please make sure to use an appropriate AVDD voltage and IDAC setting that respects the IDAC compliance voltage and differential reference voltage requirements.
