ADS42B49EVM: Differences between ADS42B49EVM Rev A Rev B

Hello,

I have two ADS42B49EVM boards one of each revision, and noticed the performance isn't the same under same conditions.

Can anyone highlight the differences between the two revisions please? 

I found Rev A and D on schematics on TI website but not Rev B

    A rev B was never released. The newer boards changed the clocking device from a LMK04808 to a LMK04828, which has better phase noise performance. This is probably what you are seeing. The older boards may have had pre-production silicon parts as well. This also could be lowering the performance.

    I would suggest you order the latest version of this board if you want the best performance. These are the Rev D versions. The changes made on this board are as follows:

    Fix power planes so analog and digital planes do not overlap
    * swap clock input pins polarity
    * add LDO to provide 1.8V analog and 1.8V digital its own supply
    * U1 output resistors pulled up to 3.3V (was DRVDD1.8V)

    Does the same still applies to ADSLB49EVM? I purchased two boards from a known supplier and I received Rev A and B

    I do not know what the difference is between Rev A and Rev B. I have attached both schematics for your reference.

    Rev D is the latest. The changes were as follows:

    Rev D
