DAC71416: DAC out voltage

Hello,

I have a few additional questions. Can you tell me what voltages you are using for VIO, VDD, VCC, VSS, and VAA?

Hi, 

 VIO - 3.3 V

VDD - 5V

VCC - (+)15V

VSS -  (-)15 V

VAA - 5V

I tried external reference also, still DAC is not responding. No voltage is observed in output pins( all 16 channels).

Hello,

I apologize for the delay due to the holiday weekend. Have you been able to write to the DACn_DATA registers and read back the data? Your commands in your provided code look correct to me, so there may be some issue with writing to the device, especially since you are unable to activate the internal reference. If you send me a scope shot of one of your write sequences I can take a look.

In addition, are high voltages being applied to /RESET and /CLR?

Hi,

  I connected the /RESET and /CLR pins with 3.3V.

Note - the below has a frequency of 32kHz and i also tried with 3MHz frequency and getting the same output.

Can you let me know what each scope shot is showing? It is also helpful to see the SCLK and MOSI lines on the same scope shot so the timing requirements can be verified.

Can we get a scope shots of /CS and SCLK in one frame? ( Meaning for one SPI transaction). Also if possible add MOSI also.
