ADS5483: CLKP CLKM pullup/pulldown resistors connected to "ANALOG" VDD/GND?

Part Number: ADS5483

Dear Sir,
in the "Clock Inputs" section of the relevant datasheet, appears that the clock signals are referred to as analog GND and VDD (despite it seem to be digital signals), thus I have connected my pullup/pulldown resistors to analog VDD and GND as in the attached figure.
Is it the best choice?
Thank you very much

  • Hi Davide,

There is lot of older information out there that can be mis-leading, but in general for a high-speed converter, the sample clock is not a digital signal it is referred to analog.

We recommend a single point ground for best performance, there is no need to split grounds.

The figure you have above should be fine.

    Regards,

    Rob
