In the datasheets figure 4 on page 12 it says: Difference Amplifier Provides Differential to Single-Ended Conversion and AC-Coupling.
I suppose it should read ...DC-Coupling.

You're correct. This is verified by the text at the top of the "Differential configuration using an op amp" section:
If the application requires a DC-coupled output, a difference amplifier may be considered, as shown in Figure 4.
