ADS8361: output mistake

Hi,

ADS8361 output is 0 or FFFF. Could anyone help to check the mistake? Thanks.

    Hi Walsh,

    The schematic shows that you are using an ext reference REF5025.

    The REFOUT pin is the output of the buffered internal reference, and I suspect that connecting this pin to GND may be causing an issue. 

    Looking at the ADS8361EVM evaluation board schematic, the REFOUT pin can connect to REFIN when using internal Reference through jumper W1, and

    REFOUT is left floating when using the ext Reference by removing W1.

    Is it possible to disconnect the REFOUT pin from GND to see if you get valid conversions?

    Thanks. Yes, You are right.

    We check the schematic and find the REFOUT connecting issue, and It's OK now by disconnecting the REFOUT from GND.
