My customer(China customer) recently is planning to kick off project for optical temperature measure, they want to choose 12bit, 200Msps ADC. It seems ADS4128 will be the best fit device. Customer need 2pcs ADS4128 on one board and they hope to realize simultaneous sampling of these two pcs ADS4128, so can you help check how to realize simultaneous sampling? Thanks a lot!

BTW, I see we also have ADS4226, 2channels device, but only 160Msps, if it is similar with ADS4128 to realize simultaneous sampling?

They are also checking ADI solution, so your kindly support are appreciated, thanks a lot!

Sulyn,

With an input clock period of 5ns (200MHz) and the input to output clock delay range from 3-5.4ns for the ADS4128, trying to do simultaneous sampling will be impossible to guarantee over temperature and voltage. Have you looked into using an ADS4229, which is a dual 12 bit, 250MHz sample rate.

Thanks for your support. Yes I do look at ADS4229, but it seems this socket was export control socket to China customers, not sure if this one ok or not, do we have more best fit device?

Sulyn,

It appears the export control allows for 14 bit up to 250MHz. In this case you could look into using the ADS4249.
