Are the ADS129x EVMs compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 10?
The EVMs for TI's ADS129x devices were originally developed on older versions of Windows, namely Windows XP and Windows 7. The drivers for these EVMs were not appropriately signed for compatibility with Windows 8 and Windows 10.
As of October 1, 2019, the following EVM drivers have been resigned and may be installed on Windows 8 and Windows 10 machines. Please revisit the EVM product folders and reinstall the EVM software, which will contain the updated signed drivers:
The remaining EVMs in the ADS129x still require an update in order to be used with Windows 8 and Windows 10. These include:
For now, please refer to the instructions below to temporarily disable Driver Signature Enforcement. This procedure allows you to install older drivers without a signed driver certificate:
