ADS1292R: Query regarding the maximum gain of the RLD circuit

Hello,

This post is to enquire about the maximum gain, that can be set for the RLD circuit, below.

Presently it has a gain of 2.5.

Electrical parameter :

DVDD=3.3V

AVDD=3.3V

DVSS=AVSS=GND

ADC VREF = 2.42 V

Hi Harish,

The gain is set by the external resistor, so it can be adjusted based on the application. The maximum is only limited by the resistors available to you, and obviously the rails of the amplifier. I suggest trying a few values and see what works best for your system.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to ask whether I can set the gain to 100? will there be any issue?

Hi Harish,

That is probably pushing the limits of the amplifier. Sticking to a gain of ~20 is typically fine.
