ADS8168: External reference voltage

Hi,

The external reference voltage is specified minimum 2.5V as below;

My customer would like to use 2.5V±0.5% reference voltage.

This minimum value(2.4875V) is lower than 2.5V.

Is this voltage inappropriate?

    Hello Kuramochi-san,

    The intention of this specification is to allow the use of a 2.5V nominal reference.  You can use a reference at 2.4875V minimum and you will see full data sheet performance in the ADS8168.

    However, if your customer is required to meet the exact specification in the datasheet, then the published minimum value is 2.5V.
