ADS131E08: Raw Data only showing 0 end of numbers in 16kSPS mode

Part Number: ADS131E08

Dear Team,

The ADS131E08 raw data is always showing 0 end of decimal numbers in 16kSPS mode.

But the under 16kSPS mode is fine.

Below is the raw data samples.

How could this be explained?

  • Dear Team,

This is some samples decimal numbers in raw data.

  • Hello Dong-woon,

    Thank you for your post.

At higher data rates, the noise in delta-sigma ADCs will increase. The noise level of the ADS131E08 at 16 kSPS data rate is larger than 10 decimal codes. Therefore, the digital core is likely masking these last few bits to zero because they do not contain any useful information. All of the performance specifications given in the Electrical Characteristics table will still be applicable.

    Regards,
