CCS/TMS320F2802: Service Pack 1 win 7 on Win 10

Hello Fabian,
Service Pack 1 is a critical patch for Windows 10. Do you not have it installed? If not, I would strongly recommend having it installed, not just so you can use CCS, but also because of the security fixes for your OS.

Thanks a lot for your answer, i'm going to install right now. i was thinking that as user of Win 10 the patch of service pack 1 of the win 7 it was included on .

Yes it is good to get the latest OS patches. However the message is indeed confusing since you are on Win 10. I will look into improve this messaging. Please let me know if you are able to use CCS ok after applying the patch.

Thanks a lot for keep in touch on my issue .
Right now i reinstalled CCS 7.4 on my computer. The problem was that the CCS and the others software must be installed on administrator user´s . Win 10 have all the win 7 patch´s . But Win 10 have a lot of restrictions and permitions that didn´t allow the correct performance of the CCS and other software.

The second problem is right now appear other issue:

Debug Assertion Failed
Program C:\ti\Code Generation\bin\cl2000.exe
line :68
Expression : (unsigned))(c+1)<=256

The thirth problem is the that all the time when CCS start get freezing the program.

I´m near to give up , i don´t know what happen on Win 10 but CCS on Mac work perfect !!

I think that might be caused by non-ASCII characters in the pathname of a file passed to the compiler. What is the full output from the CCS Build Console when that error occurs?
