Hello,

i am trying to upload internal patterns to the DLP4710LC. I tried to do it with the DLP evm GUI, but it only allows horizontal or vertical patterns. Is it acessable to upload patterns in other nonspecific or costomized directions?

As an attachment, is it also possible to load not line-shaped patterns or some normal images to the internal memory?

Hello Haoran Wang,

Welcome to the TI E2E forums and thanks for showing interest in the DLP technology.

Using Internal pattern mode of DLPC3470/8/9, you can display only 1D patterns. You can display 2D patterns using the external pattern mode. For more information please refer to the following FAQ -

Thanks for your replying!

When display via HDMI with computer it can only have fixed frame rate or? Does it possible to control the DMD with external devices through SPI to have more flexible frame rate options?

Hello Haoran,

With the latest firmware on TI.com (v8.1.0) this EVM can support 60, and 120 Hz from and external video input.

Hello Haoran,

In addition to my previous reply. up to 120 Hz is supported for external video input.
