DLPC900: DLPC900 Firmware Upload Issues

Hi so we are having a problem with adding images and uploading them into the firmware. We have followed all the steps listed in the User's Guide from section 3.9.1 on adding or removing patterns from the firmware. Every time we try to upload the file to the firmware we get the error message of:

Error: Unknown Flash IDs : 89 227e

Hello Kevin,

This sounds like a mismatch between the FlashDeviceParameters.txt file and what is connected to the board. If there is a picture I do not see it.

Is this a TI EVM or one of your own design? This file can be found under C:\Texas Instruments-DLP\DLPC900REF-SW-5.0.0\DLPC900REF-GUI\Flash by default.

If you are trying to use the JTAG programmer, there is a copy under C:\Texas Instruments-DLP\DLPC900REF-SW-5.0.0\DLPC900REF-JTAG that the JTAG tool uses.

You will need to find the line that matches your flash, and put it at the top of the list and make sure it is not commented out.
