DLPDLCR230NPEVM: Connect the engine of using DLP230GP

Part Number: DLPDLCR230NPEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP230GP, , DLPC3436, DLPA2005, DLP230NP, DLPC3432, DLPA3000

Dear support team;

We would like to connect the optical engine of using DLP230GP and DLPDLCR230NPEVM.

Of course, we have to change the connectors of LED and DMD.

Does it work?

If any concerns, please let me know.

  • Hello Sugiyama-san,

    The DLP230GP is incompatible with the DLPDLCR230NPEVM. The DLPDLR230NPEVM uses the DLP230NP DMD, DLPC3436 controller, and DLPA2005 PMIC.

    Can you please share more information on the end equipment specs in this effort, like the intended resolution of the display ?

    Thank you,

    Chris

  • Dear Smith-san;

    The specification of engine is below.

    - DLP chipset:DLP230GP DLPC3432 DLPA3000

    - Resolution:960x540

    - Brightness:165lm(typ)

    We want to connect the existed control board.

  • Hi Sugiyama-san,

    For the specs suggested, it is recommended to use the DLPDLCR230NPEVM for evaluation and development purposes. The EVM's DLP230NP DMD can be used to display video at 960x540p resolution and is capable of up to 200 lumens.

    Let us continue our conversation over direct message so that I can provide better specific support for this development effort.

    Thank you,

    Chris
