DLPA3005: [DLPA3005]thermal_pad pin

Hi,

I would like to ask about thermal pad pin for DLPA3005.

According to the datasheet, the pin should connect to ground.

However, the pin is "floating"(No connect) on the DLPDLC4710EVM circuit.

Which is correct ?

Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

According to this product page, www.ti.com/.../TIDA-01226, the schematic shows pin 42/ thermal pad as connected to ground on page 10. Can you share where you received your schematic? Can you confirm that this is the design you module you were looking at?
