Hi team,
My customer has a circuit using the DLPC3433 & DLPA2005. They noticed that there is a brief, large power surge measured on VINL, incidental to when HOST_IRQ goes low. They measured the peak current at RLIM during the surge to be consistent with the max LED current for the DLPA2005 chip; However, the total current measured on VINL is a few multiples higher than the peak LED current. After the surge we see the LED currents and system behaving as expected.
Is that power surge expected? Does TI know what may be causing it? If so, are there options for reducing it?
