DLPC3421: BT656 format

Hello TI everyone,

Can we input BT.656 with horizontal/vertical blanking intervals to DLPC3421? Does DLPC3421 allow only the valid video data?

    Hello BT656 standard does not support blanking, The proposed approach seems to be outside BT656 specification.

    Please refer to Table 5.2 on page 4 of DLPC3421 datasheet, in case of BT656 the Sync and Hsync are unused. I am not how can you communicate the blanking information.

    It is not a supported feature.
